I couldn't put it downThis book was wonderful. I love the characters, the setting, and the pacing. Just read it. I can't wait for the next one.

Our protagonist is Kate, a biochemist burned out from her work on an ethically questionable military research program. On vacation and lost in the Colorado Rockies, Kate crashes into the gate of a farm.
