I love Shannon to death. Every single book she doesn't disappoint me. I am heartbroken at the ending. You have a part two of a wonderfully, difficult relationship. The love between the two main characters captures you. Shannons still wonderful with your descriptions making you feel like u are right there.A man with a dark past who's never known love until he meets Charlotte. She has had a world of hurt come to her and she is just trying to move on, but she can't seem to. It seems like the past do [...]

Well she has done it again, Shannon Youngblood has managed to keep me on the edge of my seat again. The story of Alex and Charlotte continues, this time told by Alex. Now I usually don't like a story told by the man but Shannon Youngblood has managed to tell it from a mans side as if she really was a man. I could not put the book down. I didn't sleep, eat or anything this book just drew me in and I didn't do anything until I finished it. The drama, the love, the heartfelt man who will do anythin [...]

If you read Just A Man, get ready to get blown away by Just A Woman. We get a switch in POV from Charlotte to Alex. Any unanswered questions, they will be answered. I’m torn between liking this book or JaM better. Shannon’s amazing way with words keeps up and takes you deeper into Charlotte and Alex’s love story. Surprises await the couple and the reader in this fabulous continuation of a fantastic love story. I won’t give it all away, but just know you will laugh and cry.The sex is HOT [...]

Just A Woman By Shannon YoungbloodReviewed on behalf of Two Girls Who Love BooksThis book blew my mind. There are so many things pulling this couple apart mostly their secrets and inability to communicate with one another. This story has a lot of twist and turns and just when you think it is over and nothing can bring them back together again something else happens. I love reading books that are a part of a sequel or trilogy because that means I get to be in their world and get to know the chara [...]

Just A Woman takes up where Just A Man left off, so guess what? You must read Just A Man first! Charlotte's past has come back with a vengeance, and Alex's secret keeping has splintered them apart, which sent Charlotte running. However, no matter how bad it looks, their connection is strong that it will take even more to break it apart permanently. Alex has never felt this way about any woman, so he's made mistakes, but he's determined to right the wrongs, and not even Charlotte ignoring him, wi [...]

The only difference is it's Alex's POV which the author does an amazing job from is prospective. We learn a [...]

Just A Woman is part two in The Porter Trilogy and you need to read book 1 first to fully understand this book. With that being said I finished this book last night and waited until now to write my review hoping the words would come to me but I still don't know what to say about this amazing second installment of a great series. I started this book yesterday morning and was finished by 11 pm last night because I just could not put it down. The characters are so well written that you can't help b [...]

This is the second book of Charlotte and Alex. This is about Alex trying to slay his own demons. I really liked Alex in this book. The chemistry is still there between the two of them. I loved this book as much as the first.

"I stalked the few feet Charlotte had gone and pulled her back into my chest, lowering my mouth to her neck, while pushing her hair off of her shoulders. Charlotte's head flung back in ecstasy as a moan escaped her throat, spurring me forward."5 Give Me More Stars!!! Another fantastic book in the series, but hold on for the ending!Okay so after finishing book one, and with that ending I knew I'd need to read the next book. And lucky me I was asked to beta read this beautiful book!! Charlotte and [...]

I read this book as an ARC for 2 girls who love books blog. I was hooked from Just a Man and I seriously couldn't put it down! The story of Alex and Charlotte continues and it doesn't let you down. Twists and turns at every page, a roller coaster of emotions, angst and anger with unequivocal love.As always, things aren't running smooth for the pair and Charlotte's blog is a great way of expressing her concerns to the world without a face! I love that idea and enjoyed that you could understand bot [...]

LindseyBook two in the Porter series is just as good if not better than book one. Alex and Charlotte come back with a vengeance with both of them trying to live their HEA but still trying to deal with all the drama that just cannot seem to stop following them. The writing was great, the plot, the characters, everything was just great. I was definitely hooked from page one. This book had some of everything in it from the romance, passion, lies, deceit, drama and everything that followed. The endi [...]

As soon as I finished "Just a Man " I couldn't start "Just a Woman " fast enough !!! I mean hello how could I not be excited ?! I had questions that need answering and also it easy good to get thing from Alex's perspective .I remember saying that Alex and Charlotte were like fire and gasoline and they still are HOT but sometimes even a run away fire can be contained and it seems that way for our love birds BUT their fire and passion can't easily fizzle.Alex did make a mess and Charlotte did run [...]

I loved this book. There were some pros and cons about this story. I loved all the romance and drama and suspense that it had. It kept me on my toes. Thr only thing I wasn't thrilled about what that the Daydreamer Musings were kind of repeating everything that just happened. That made it feel like I was just reading it twice. But other than that it was great. I also loved how the ending had a cliffhanger. Now I'm dying to read the 3rd installment Just Us.

Just a Woman by Shannon Youngblood is the second book in The Porter series. I must say this book was a lot better than the first. Loose ends were tied up nicely. We got to see more of Alex's past and he finally opens up to Charlotte. This book is told in Alex's POV, and seeing in the mind of the brooding jerk was an eye opener. Why the way he is? Even his love for Charlotte was very clear in Just a Women. Shannon's writing I will say improved greatly in this novel. It flowed nice, the story itse [...]

###4###Just a Women is the second book in the Porter series and this book is told from Alex's point of view this time which I really liked. It was helpful knowing what was going on in his mind and what made him act the way he does. There's lots of twists turns and angst all around.I felt this book flowed better than Just A Man and I found myself totally lost in the story.*A complimentary copy was provided to me**Reviewed by #MinxR for #HashTagMinxes Reviews*
