The author of this book used to work crime scene investigations--the story of the hands in the bucket is one of the best ones--so she know whereof she speaks. Of course, in these days of dozens of CSI shows of various types, her work is not quite so revelatory, but it's still solid information.The only downside to the book is that it was published a year too soon. Her last example is about a murder in my area, full of contradictory forensics and murky motives, and the truth was the opposite of w [...]
