Australian ecosystem of normal but dysfunctional families across three generations, focused around a slap a rich Greek background father gives a lower class 4 year old when he threatened his son with a cricket bat at a party. The kids and old people are sympathetic, none of the adults, which is interesting, but everyone is sufficiently complex and very well and interiorily drawn.
