As many Americans did I often tuned out the recent election campaign due to the relentless onslaught of commercials, repetitive news and the highly negative political PAC ads. Dan Balz's book provides a clear synopsis of the 2012 campaign that no-one else has done to date. Short e-book that takes us through the election. It's clear the book was hastily put out as the structure seems choppy and the "chapters" are really just snapshots of particular times. I don't care for Dan Balz's style of writing either, as I'm reading "The Battle for America" right now.There are other, better takes on Election 2012.
