What a great read. Even though I don't hunt I enjoyed every page of this book. Everyone who enjoys the outdoors should read this book. Everyone who thinks that government and the private sector can't work together must read this book.

A beautiful account of not only hunting, but the historical and current culture of north central Pennsylvania. A must read for any outdoor enthusiast, but especially for those that call this place their outdoor home.

There were good parts and bad parts. The good were the stories about his hunting adventures. The bad was when he presented background information; as written, it was rather wearing to read, and I almost gave up on the book at times.
