While many sections of the book have no direct bearing today on Western society (arranged marriages, etc), the Rogers' application of Scriptural principles is spot-on. Let's just say that he has a much higher view of marriage than most Christendom has had for tyhe last 100 years. He opens his volume with these words: “Marriage is the preservative of chastity, the seminary of the commonwealth, seed-plot of the church, pillar (under God) of the world, right-hand of providence, supporter of laws, [...]
